3 Reasons Your Company is Forgettable

Company Branding Ideas

Have you been too busy creating your company and keeping it afloat to give any thought to your branding?

I am certainly guilty of this.  I definitely don’t have a coherent marketing strategy.  And oops, I don’t even have an official logo for this site.

So… if you’re anything like me, you’re going to appreciate the three simple ideas in the contributed post below as much as I did.  Excited to implement these.

3 Reasons Your Company is Forgettable

Consumers are exposed to thousands of companies a day in some form or another. Ads are all over the place but people will forget about 99 percent of those ads in seconds.

The only way to make your business successful is to do something that will catch people’s attention and make sure that they remember you.

Creating a memorable brand is at the heart of your marketing strategy and it’s the difference between success and failure for a lot of people. If you think that your company is forgettable, these are some of the reasons why.

A Bad Logo

A company’s logo is one of the most memorable things about it. The most famous brands have instantly recognisable logos that people from all over the world know.

People often think that creating a logo is a simple task but it’s far from it. It’s incredibly difficult to create a logo that instantly sticks in people’s minds and appeals to the right target market.

If you think it’s time for an update, get in touch with a good logo design company and have them design something fresh. It’s important that the logo reflects the ideals and values of your company and appeals to the right people.

That’s why it’s important for you to speak at length with the logo designers and make sure that they have a good understanding of what your company is about before they start working on designs.

A Bad Website

People visit a huge number of websites every single day and most of them look pretty similar.

If your website is a boring layout that looks just like everybody else’s, people will forget you right away. You need to be doing something new and innovative on your site if you want people to come back and make purchases.

The layout is one of the best ways to push boundaries so why not speak to your web design team and see whether they’ve got any new ideas.

Social Media

The way that you interact with people on social media is vital. Some of the most successful campaigns catch the attention of people because they’re interacting in a funny, human way.

If you’re using a very boring business like tone when you’re answering customers on social media, that’s not very memorable. Instead, you should be trying to carve out a distinct personality for the company that appeals to your target market. Then bring out that personality in your social media posts.

Customers like to feel as though they’re talking to a real person rather than a faceless company and they’re more likely to remember you if you’re a little bit more light-hearted.

Posting interesting or funny stuff on your social media pages also means that people are far more likely to share your posts which is the best way to increase your reach and make the most out of your digital marketing efforts.

Address these areas and you can create a brand that catches people’s attention and makes sure that they remember you.
