Mompreneur Tips

Juggling work with mum duties while trying to stay in perfect shape can be exhausting.

Moreover, it can take its toll on you and completely take the mindful factor out of everything, which is essential in order to be aware of present moments and actually live your life instead of walking through it automatically.

Luckily, you can easily make it through what it may seem as the toughest period of your life, and with the following tips.

Battling to juggle it all? Here are some quick tips from Helen Bradford to help you bring some balance back. #mompreneurtips #guestpostPlan everything

Antoine de Saint-Exupery once said that a goal without a plan is just a wish. Therefore, do your best to plan your every day in order to make the most of it.

Spend your evenings by scheduling the next day’s errands, sorting out meeting hours and making sure you have your grocery or any other list ready.

Make multiple to-do lists if you think something may skip your mind, potentially wreaking havoc on the rest of your duties. Don’t worry about running into schedule conflicts ever again, but plan out your every day wisely.

Make time for taking kids to school, picking them up and sending quality time together, but also for your daily exercises and all the errands.

Mapping out a weekly schedule can be overwhelming and less attainable than planning one day at a time every evening.

Look for an adequate workout program

Every person is different as well as their bodies, which means that not all of us will benefit from the same workout program.

Therefore, do the research and look for the program that you’ll enjoy the most while also getting the best results out of it. You’ll be able to find programs customized specially for people who are busy and need the most efficient workout that doesn’t require too much time, for example.

Aerobics classes, or maybe hiring a personal trainer to create a special workout plan for you would benefit your figure a lot.

On the other hand, if you do not want to spend extra time to go to the gym and come back home, think about creating a home gym where you can break a sweat while also spending some quality time with your kids. Get a treadmill, order dumbbells online, put a stationary bicycle inside and get a Pilates ball for a diverse workout.

Lift your baby up and put it down almost to your chest to make the best of both worlds – working out while bonding with your baby. They’ll find it amusing and you’ll be lifting their weight and toning your body.

Get jogging strollers and spend your mornings or evenings outside, doing a healthy run while spending time with your bundle of joy.

Don’t overlook self-care

You can only be a good mother if you feel good in your own skin and if you are not stretched too thin. Therefore, make sure you plan for some “me” time every day.

While all your office tasks and family duties take priority, you shouldn’t forget to pamper yourself and have some quiet time be alone with your thoughts.

Having 10 minutes for yourself to scroll through the latest events on social media, read a book before bed, have a bath, catch up on your favourite tv show, or decorate your home – whatever activity makes you relax, takes your mind off of everyday worries and allows you to forget about everything that you need to deal with tomorrow, make time for it every day.

Your children and your spouse need you rested, calm and patient, which you can only be after you’ve recharged and spent time alone to re-set and de-stress.

Hire an Assistant

Being a full-time Mum and trying to lead a healthy lifestyle alongside can become overwhelming at some point, which is the right time for you to think about hiring an assistant.

Don’t think that you need to be ridiculously rich in order to hire someone to help you or that you have to have an individual following you around all day writing down what he or she needs to finish instead of you.

The good thing about living in the 21st century is that now you can hire a virtual assistant who can do various tasks for you and they don’t even have to live in the same state.

All you need is an access to phone, text, email, and or Skype and social media and you can have more time to spend with your family while the assistant sorts out your emails, or whatever you chose to make their job.

Final thoughts

Don’t worry about making time for your family with all the work you need to do and the fitness routine you want to follow.

Now, you can easily juggle all the errands and make time to read your child a bedtime story or take them to the playground while telling your spouse all about your day and learning about their events.

All you need to do is learn how to become more organized and every day will be a happy day.
