You don’t need to write a book
Most contributors can draft their chapter in a couple of hours using my story prompts: a one-page guide with 5 questions for your story and 3 for your advice page. I handle formatting, publishing and launch logistics. Never published before? Perfect. Already an author? You’re welcome too.

Publishing solo means sourcing and paying for each of these yourself.
Good to know
- No royalties. Contributors don’t receive royalties or a share of book sales. Your fee covers your participation and the deliverables in your package.
- Your rights. You keep copyright in your original chapter, subject to the written contributor agreement, and grant the permissions needed to publish and promote it.
- No guarantees. Our aim is a launch that gives the book its best chance at bestseller recognition in relevant Amazon categories. Bestseller status, reach, sales and business outcomes can’t be guaranteed.
- Launch. You’ll be encouraged to share the book with your own audience. I’ll provide the promotional materials.

Refund policy
- Full refund if you withdraw within 7 days of paying, as long as you haven’t submitted your chapter.
- 50% refund if you withdraw after that and before you submit your chapter.
- No refund once your chapter is submitted, because editorial work and publishing costs are then committed.
- Full refund if the book doesn’t go ahead.
If life gets in the way of the 16 December deadline, talk to me early and we’ll look at your options.
Questions
Do I need to have been interviewed by Inspiring Mompreneurs before?
No. The project grew out of the interviews, but any mom entrepreneur with a story and lessons to share is welcome.
Who writes my chapter?
You do, in your own voice. Your package includes editorial feedback and one revision round. If you’d rather tell your story in an interview and have it turned into a chapter, an optional interview-and-writing service may be available at an extra cost. Please enquire.
When is everything due?
Chapters are due 16 December 2026. The Kindle version is targeted for 27 January 2027, with the paperback a few weeks later. Final dates depend on chapters arriving on time and the editorial, production and publishing process.
Will the book appear on my Amazon Author Central profile?
We’ll help you establish your author presence. If you already have an Author Central profile, we’ll guide you through claiming the book; if not, we’ll show you how to create one. This is subject to Amazon’s eligibility requirements and platform availability.
Will I be expected to promote the book?
Yes, you’ll be encouraged to join the coordinated launch and share the book with your own audience. A collaborative launch works best when contributors help spread the word.
Are future journal or audiobook projects included?
No. Those would be separate projects with their own arrangements.
