A Little Breathing Space (Podcast)

Super excited to announce that I was interviewed yesterday by Clarissa Kristjansson yesterday on her lovely Podcast, A Little Breathing Space.

The Mindful Menopause Coach

Clarissa is known as the Mindful Menopause Coach and she’s the Author of The Mindful Menopause – I just picked up a copy on Amazon Kindle.  Get it now on Amazon

Podcast Interview

Clarissa’s created her podcast, A Little Breathing Space, to share mindfulness meditations, tips and interviews to help women navigate the responsibilities of midlife.

It was a wonderful experience being a guest on Clarissa’s show. We both had fun, it felt like we’d known each other for years – yet we just met on Fempreneurs Unite a couple of weeks ago.

I’d love to know what you think of my first official podcast interview.   Please have a listen and let me know in the comments below.

Are you going through menopause or midlife?  Do you need a little breathing space?

Great podcast.  I had never heard of Fempreneurs Unite, but I am actually excited to check it out now!  You are so right.  As women, we are so busy, but we cannot let that stop us from exploring the things we are passionate about doing in life.  I do not have kids at this point in my life, but when I do, I hope I continue to blog and work on my entrepreneurial enterprises!  I think it will set a great example for my children as they grow up!  I really enjoyed listening to your interview.  Good luck to you!

Thanks so much, Ashley, happy to hear you enjoyed! The reason you haven’t heard about Fempreneurs Unite yet is that I only created the group on LinkedIn a few weeks ago. It’s been keeping me really busy ever since!  🙂 I think I’m onto something. I’ve created a website as well – it’s brand new so there’s nothing much there yet.  Have great plans for the site in 2020.  Will keep you posted at #FempreneursUnite on LinkedIn.

Oh wow! Congratulations on the interview. I’m 39, so this podcast was relevant to my interests. I can’t believe you started your blogging career when your son was 2! How did you find the time??? Btw, my son is 7. I had him when I was 32.  I can’t believe we have so much in common. I’m a “Mompreneur” too. I work as a novelist and blogger and piano teacher.

Awesome Wendy!  So excited to meet you and hear how much we have in common.

And yeah, building a business around a 2-year-old was TRICKY… he only went to nursery school 3 mornings a week when he was 2 and when he dropped his midday nap I was floored! Every year I have a little more time to dedicate my business and every year my business demands grow too. The juggle is real!

I’m building a tribe of likeminded Mompreneurs on LinkedIn at MompreneursUnite.  Would love you to come join us!

So, I’m not your target demographic.  I meet the mid-life part at age 43 but I’m male so I missed that piece a bit.

That said, I listened to your podcast and I have to say I think it’s actually inspiring and I plan to share it with a few of my female friends.

I laughed when the dog chimed in but that’s because I’m a dog-lover and mine never fail to join me at the most inopportune times (such as conference calls, video recording and so on).

I think my friends are going to enjoy not only your podcast appearance but your site as well.

    Thanks again,

    Scott

Thanks so much, Scott, you’re a Star for sharing with your girlfriends. Now you’ve got me laughing about the dog chiming in too.  So how’s midlife treating you?
