#BalanceforBetter is the Theme for International Women’s Day 2019

Since I started Happy Human Pacifier and Inspiring Mompreneurs I have worked with so many amaaaazing women…. many more than I could fit into the picture above.

And what always astounds me is how strong women are and the challenges they are able to overcome.

So I’m taking a moment today to Thank each and every one of you,

  • the wonderful women in my friendship circle
  • the wonderful women who I’ve featured on my sites
  • the wonderful women who’ve sent me guest posts
  • the wonderful women who have supported me in my blogging journey
  • the wonderful women who inspire me daily
  • the wonderful woman who raised me

What I’m doing to create a Gender-Balanced World

I find women to be supportive, encouraging, inspiring, nurturing and brilliant.

Which is why I’ve made it my business to uplift and promote women (Moms in particular) and I do that with my three websites.

Xtraordinary WomenGwen Serrotti

I know someone else who has made it her business for to do the same. Gwen Serrotti founded Xtraordinary Women in Cape Town 12 years ago and it has grown from strength to strength.

Gwen runs Networking Events to promote women in business. She now has 3 Chapters, each with their own Chapter Leader.

I’ve been attending Robyn Lambrick’s monthly breakfast meetings for a while and was very excited when she contacted me early in January to ask if I’d be her Guest Speaker on 12th March. What fun!

I’ve been meaning to join as a Member for a while and this honour definitely gave me the final push I needed.

I thought member benefits were simply discounts on events. Wow, was I wrong!  When you join as a member Gwen gives you access to heaps of benefits I didn’t know exist.  I haven’t even worked through the entire list of member benefits yet but you can find a taste of them here:

XTRAORDINARY WOMEN MEMBER BENEFITS

I am really happy to have aligned myself with Xtraordinary Women which is why I feel it’s very apt that this International Women’s Day I’m working on the final touches of the talk I’ll be delivering next Tuesday.
